Hi all just want to give my 2 cents worth of the 2017 149 tronic
just got a new 2017 cabrinha tronic and I LOVE IT after riding strapless surfboards for the last few years I love the change of the twintip being able to do everything I can do strapless and more like riding in ankle deep water quickly switching to toeside to smash a lip and getting that massive impressive rooster tail of spray or slide across the lip of a wave then drop'n down and surf that wave to the sand EASY from down the line surfing to tight snappy toeside bottom turns with the 50mm fins your locked in with confidence the 2017 cabrinha tronic does it all also here's another great feature of the tronic no sliding out like the other twintips do anything you can do on a strapped or strapless surfboard even your regular twintip you can do on the 2017 tronic plus more
Boosting is so effortless and smooth front rolls back rolls every freestyle trick you can confidently do on the 2017 tronic getting a face full of spray is a thing of the past on this years tronic as the nice rocker and parabolic rails keeps the complete nose of the tronic is out of the water in fact this board totally eats up chop all together like yesterday's lunch and when you mess up and nosedive the tronic it just surfaces again like a breaching submarine this board is flawless I've tried to break it and it just sits there saying is that the best you've got sucker
the H1 straps do take a little to get used to but being a strapless kiter for so long I like to move my feet around some on the board and having the H1 straps a little loose gives me that almost strapless feel and now I'm totally used to them
the 2017 cabrinha tronic handles all conditions from the little grobbeler 1ft ankle ripples all the way up to the double over head sets and don't worry about being over powered on the biggest of the tronics I've found the bigger the board the more surfboard feel the board has so go big get the 149 tronic YOU'LL LOVE IT

I heard that some of these boards were infected with herpes virus off the production line. Have you had any herpes like symptoms since riding this board?

Actually studies show that if you rub up next to your slingshot kite it clears up most of your pathetic sad n sorry std's especially if you massage your slingshot bar n lines all over your hemroids they completely disappear

So you used slingshot equipment to clear up the herpes you got from your naish board?

I also bought the 2017 Tronic 149. Great Board. I've been a Surfer for a longtime and I really like the feel of this board in the surf when kiting. I also have 2016 Tronics 141 and 145 also Great boards. I switch between them dependent on the wind. I ride them also because I don't like knocking my fins out in shallow water, so my Tronics are a Great alternative. I recommend them. Can't go wrong.

Using shop demos, I've tried and tested nearly every other board in the surf, after trying the Tronic I was hooked from the first wave, it's been two years now and l'd never go back to any other board.

Sounds like an epidemic of Chronic Tronicitis

Glad to read some great reviews on the 2017 Tronic from Cabrinha, just goes to show the highly skilled engineers at Cabrinha have once again come through with a board that all the crew want need and desire. Just proves you don't always need a surfboard to shred it in the waves when there a board that happerly does it all

I got the biggest tronic and it's a fun chop munching board. Had some nice little kickers and enjoyed jumping around like a spring chicken.

Haven't had a chance with it in the surf yet, but should be fun.

Yep ridden it to. It's a decent board for its intended purpose but the marketing drivel on this post is straight out of the toothpaste commercial bag. Stop it, please.

Yep. Come clean and tell us who you are and what your relationship with Cabrinha is. You are infact doing more damage than good pretending to be a stoked customer when its blantantly clear you are pimping the fark out of this.

I have no afilliation with cabrinha or any shop I am just spreading the word about how good this board after riding strapless for 10yrs I have now found the 2017 Tronic twintip from Cabrinha a well rounded do everything board that can handle everything that is put at it whilst also carving up the swell like I've been doing on a regular surfboard for years without the fear of throwing hundreds of dollars away by ripping out fun boxes in the sand this board does it all
