My Comments:
So the wind was 14 knots tops and gusty. 3 guys were out all on 12m. One guy was struggling on a big mako and was doing the walk of shame, the 2 others couldnt get off the beach and their kites were hitting the water lots. Pumped it up with the big wide valve and got out.at 14knots the kite is a joy. 12 knots I was still holding ground at 10 I was packing up.

What I liked: no power spikes like most big kites, no backstall whatsoever, no stop in the upstroke downstroke when it became light, and in gusty conditions I didnt have to monitor the kite as to when it will fall out of the sky without drastic measure. It kiteloops/downloops easily without hitting the water. All I can say is it FLYS smooth rather than a grunty big assed parachute.

What Some people wont like. Its not a lightwind kite for heavier riders. Over 90kgs Id recommend the 17m as it has the same windrange. The bar seems far away from your body at full power. My arms feel too extended when the kite is trimmed and is harder to open your front shoulder to keep upwind. Its expensive. Ill try it on my old bar.

As for the shop I got it from.....north of the river, The manager was cool, the owner, talk to your customers and leave your personal issues and ego at home. I paid $150 over the RRP so I didnt have to get it delivered interstate. Wont buy from there ever again. I WAS going to buy a board, another $1000, on my way home I bought it from somewhere else.... Opportuntity Cost, I think its called.

As for service, swapped a board that I bought for a bigger size at Kite addiction Myaree no charge. Gave them $50, like for like as you leave with the feel good factor, not so from a jaded dude who should know better.

Great kite, **** service.

N.B. lying that a kite has been used "4 times" when the leading edge has no crisp in it is bull****.

Nice mate...great kite for sure. $150 over RRP is a rip though should pay way under RRP for a 2015 kite this time of year.

Don't leave your kite in your car. I think the glue they use on the valves isn't very good. Mine peeled

Thanks for the advice on the bladders. I know the bladder material is thinner than normal to minimize weight. It might be too thin to weld. What adhesive glue did you use in the end?

Woodies offshore side today. Got there at 4pm left at 5:30. 139 cabrinha custom 2015.

In these wind ranges the kite smoked upwind, the more I opened the canopy through depowering the faster the kite went. Im used to depower big kites and you have a big jellyfish.
I tried 8 freestyle jumps, hard to time on a big kite yet huge hangtime, didnt stall throught the jump and landed 6 smoothly.
Pulled in about half the depoower, raileys, and front rolls easy to land (havent been on a twintip in 3 years). hooking back in was so stable.
Transitions.
Front roll transition, F16 hooked/unhooked, massive butter slides. The kite didnt stall once. It does actually slack. The harder you edger the faster it goes.

Mine peeled too . Pretty ****ty these days that you have to leave a kite in air cond or risk it breaking.
