Hi Vader

Disclosure - work for SS AUSTRALIA
if you know the fuel it's the same trusty beast it has the reputation for why fix something if its not broke the fuel has been relatively unchanged for a long time now because it is what it is.

Deff for advanced riders to appreciate its full potential

Hard to argue it isn't the flagship of all c kites

Yeah the kite hasn't really changed since 2009.
Still 10/10 build quality & still a kite aimed at advanced riders with 2 foot of depower.... Go figure!
Awesome kite, I have 4 of them, super solid performance, predictable & all that crap

+1 for fuels

you love them or hate them, the 2008 seemed to go backwards a bit, been good since. Still have a original one thirty from 2001ish in the shed, won't ever use it again but pulled it out the other day, even back then the fuel was well built.

I have owned the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012 Fuels. I like them because you know what you're going to get!

A decent kite.

Killer in waves,
Killer for unhooking,
Killer for boosting,

How's this, my mate purchased a bws for his first kite. I gave him a ride on my 11m - he was blown away. Just stoked how well the kite flew and drifted down the line. The blokes converted.

Could you elaborate a little bit on its performance in waves? I have been looking at wave kites and especially in the Airush range, they share a very C kite shape. I always thought that wave riding and freestyle desired very different characteristics in a kite.

Edit: I have since been informed by my faithful sidekick that Fuels are in fact 4 line kites

How does the 5th line go in the surf? I would hate to drop the kite infront of a wave and have the line tear it in half.

Fuels are 4 line.

Woops. Ignore that last fifth line comment. I assumed all modern C kites had a 5 line for safety.
