My Comments: Had this kite since late January this year; used it in super-light wind (and one day of "good" wind) in Thailand in August hols, and as a light wind kite around here in all kinds of weather.Had a 2011 16m Crossbow as my "light wind" tube kite that I've had since 2011.. and a Speed3 21 for uber-light wind.
Started shopping and then chose the Flite cos I wanted a faster kite to whip around the sky - the big XB (not to mention the monster Speed!) was getting me down.
And that's just what I got

much faster around the sky, more like my XB13 I think. Bottom end is as good, if not a hair better than the XB16 but the Flite is just a much better all round kite.
Turns fast, floats ok, has great hang time, jumps well, bar pressure is great, lots of wind range, easy relaunch... it really is just a fantastic kite!
Comparing the Flite to the other light wind kites I've used...
Crossbow 16 is slower, had a tiny bit less bottom end, similar bar pressure (XB on "light", Flite on "middle") but the only thing the XB does better is lift you when you redirect the kite across the apex.
Speed3 21 has more grunt, more hang time, less bar pressure... turns like an oil tanker with a captain asleep at the wheel.
Infinity v2 pulled more in turns but doesn't have the bottom end, parkability of the Flite, and was over-all not as pleasant to fly - don't even ask me about the damnable Epic QR. Behaved very badly when over-powered.
Draft 17... weird. Pulled ok, turned ok but the bar pressure was MASSIVE. Not a freeride kite IMO... wasn't impressed with the jumps, either. Built apparent wind well but I'd expect that on 27m lines.
Using all those kites up there (except the Infinity) on a surfboard, just cruising - the Flite is the best for it, by a long shot. Also, I've "surfed" waves on a TT with the Flite and it's great - floats downwind, then just sheet in and go again.
Cons...
The valves... old-school style, pressure to pump is higher than the Spring Cabrinha system. Am lazy!
Build quality is
solid but is not as slick in minor details (like the finishing on pig tails) compared to my Cabrinha kites. The important areas are rugged though.
Using the Freeride bar - need to keep an eye on the double depower line... too many rotations in one direction twists the lines, which might lock up the safety; the bar could do with a swivel on the QR body. Although the good thing about how simple the bar is, is that you can replace the depower line and other parts from a marine store, without the need to special-order expensive parts... unlike Cabrinha.
"Light" bar pressure is vague in very light winds... but middle setting is still bearable when the wind picks up. It's a 'con' cos I hate fiddling

I think it could do with 3m extensions for me...
And a very boring movie... but you can see the kite flying in
very light wind - 8-10 knots, I reckon. Was riding downwind just a little less when I tried an Airush Lithium Zero 18m the same morning.
A better video with crappy riding - wasn't on the ball that day... up to 15 knots, I was told. Sam the 60kg Thai was on the Airush Zero 18m at the beginning, then went and got a 12... I got out on a Cabrinha Xcaliber and Tronic at one point, but struggled to get back upwind :o
Final word - great all-round kite for such a big lady! Excellent value for money! Love it on my Dialer too... now I need a smaller version for when the wind pics up :D
