I was under the impression that minimising bridles, or removing them completely gave a more direct feel (like the Fuel or Hadlow Pro).
Wainman offer a single point attachment which does away with the bridle, giving a very direct feel with stacks of bar pressure -- not sure if this is necessarily a good thing, nor does it make it a "Ferrari of kites" either.
Btw, does anyone here drive a Ferrari and ride a North, which can give an educated opinion or a direct comparison between a half a million dollar hand made Itallian automobile and a $2000 flying bladder covered in rip-stop material controlled with 4/5 lines mass produced in Asia? It would be good to get some closure on this wildly inaccurate, and irrelevant comparison which keeps getting bandied around without any real substance.
I drive a 1991 toyota lexcen with 450,000km on the clock. I also now fly a rebel and have used many brands for 12 years and I would say it is by far the best kite I've ever flown by a country mile.
But I don't qualify for your incredibly intelligent play on words, could never afford a ferrari, I buy too many kites.
and for the record wainman kites are also very, very good.
