Same designer, Adrian Roper. The Axis boards are a further progression of his work in designing the ultimate TT and kiteboards in general. The Vanguard is a better ride than the Styx, much better flex and ride through chop. More progressive flex in the tips but with a much livelier feel and pop.
Current boards being advertised on the underground site are 2 year old designs, a couple have different colours some are the same, so a bit yesterday IMO, although should still ride ok and could be considered if they were sold at a low price??
