I am looking at buying the Rally 2012 as I want a kite for general freeride, boosting and wave riding.

Is there anybody out there that has a 2012 model and does it fit the above bill???

It does. Seems to get a bad wrap on here from allot but i have had the 2011 and now 2012 Rallies. Pretty much the same kite except for a few minor things. I personally love these kites. Great for free ride, Jump well and are good in surf. There are im sure better kites for surf but not as versatile as the Rally.

Versatility is what I am looking for so thanks for the advice.
