Hey guys,
I have read a few reviews on the internet but i was wondering if any of you have been able to have a go on the 2012 Slinshot rpm, particularly the 6m and 8m, if so: what is the relaunch like, and is the a big difference to last years model, a review would be great as well!

The Slingshot guys were here at Castaways the other week but the wind wasn't quite strong enough to try any of the small kites , the12m looked nice in the air,

I've only tried the 12 meters one this Saturday in Brighton-Le-Sands in approx 13 knots. It's really nice and fast. Heaps of power and compare to the Rally 12 (what I am usually riding) meters it's more versatile. I am no expert but provided you have 15 knots you can do some massive jumps.

Sorry, I can't tell you more, I've only been 12 months into this sport, so pardon my humble opinion :)

Absolutely Slingshot. The BWS is way too brutal. And it has no stop bar which for people with short arms like me is a pain. But even reliability speaking, Slingys are way better. My beginner opinion, again.

What do you mean by "stop bar"? Do you mean sliding stopper? If so, both bars have them, and both work well.

Durability of the Chicken loop and butter box, thinking of jumping the fence maybe a fuel maybe a RPM, but I was looking at a newish second had bar and was concerned for the wear and tear/rusty tint they were showing no not sure it was maybe the ex owner trashed his gear or maybe ex demo stuff but did make reconsider......?

set me straight....... ;)

The centre line wear is the only issue , which i must say is a lot better than slingshot of old,and RPM is a lot more versatile kite ,just change the settings and it will fly like a fuel,

The BWS has a sliding stopper which works fine, The SS have a stopper which will work for a few weeks , depending how much you ride, but will fail soon after due to centre line wear. they should go back to their older system with thicker centre line-IMHO.
