My Comments: I wanted to give my thoughts on the new Ozone kite, the Reo.
I was riding on another team/brand when I was invited to ride with Ozone. I gave the kites a real go over a few weeks and was more than satisfied from the first run. I've been on the kites for a few months now.
I find the kite to have great low end when the wind is light and easy to manage when it's pumping.
The kites are super stable and predictable. I dislocated my shoulder recently and as i popped up from that wave there was my trusty kite in the sky waiting.
The kites are also amazing unhooked and don't need much trim. A cool feature is that the kite pumps up super quick which get's me out first. The bar has a really comfortable grip and has easy and safe kill systems.

I'm stoked to be riding the Reo's I have an 8, 10 and 12m... depending on your weight for kite size you could easily have a two kite quiver.

Out of interest what are you finding are the bottom end wind range for your kites?

I ride in the same area as Troy and have an 8/12 REO combo. SE Australia, Wollongong area. My latest board is a 5'10" BWS Mulcoy, which I really like. Anyway, my low range wind to stay on the break is 11/12 knots, depending on temp/pressure and humidity. My weight is 70 kg but i'm a bit of a sloppy rider, compared to Troy and Shane Simpson, who is now on REO's, so I like a couple of extra knots to feel powered up. After 15 knots, I jump on the 8 but geez, I'd like a 10 for that in between stuff. We normally get a heap of 10/15 knots but lately it's been really strong or stuff all. Hope that helps.

Same here, my 10 fly,s fine with the back lines shortened to the first knot (not a hint of back stall) & has increased bottom end.

I ride all the time and don't mind walking up the beach after I get a wave. I'll kite in 10 knots and have fun on my 12 with a fish surfboard and a bit of the good old walk of shame haha

under ten no kite is gonna work well I think, especially if you are riding towards it on a wave.

I ride Reo's too. Do you ever do 7 Mile Beach downwinders. We should do a Reo only downwinder one day!

We did one on tuesday, 3x reo's more the merrier.

The full stretch, Gerroa - Shoalhaven? Probably one of the best downwinders in the country maybe???
