Did you guys have any chance to ride and compare Nobile 50fifty 2011 and 2012 boards? Did they improve or spoil anything?
I heard some opinions that the 2012 deck is stiffer and the chanels that run through the board are more flat.

BTW. How does the board perform in lightwind conditions? (by lightwind I mean 10-13knts)

Nice :)
I currently have no way to demo the board, so any comments will be welcome.

I have just got the 2012 50 fifty 134cm and been out 3 times . Have been kiting for while and last board was a cab custom . The 50 is excellent . Cuts through chop great, pops fantastic carves well and as my kness are dodgy from years of kiting seems pretty kind on the legs. Really my custom was pretty good and i just wanted to try a different board.
So i am very happy with board so far so i dont reckon you can go wrong with it.
I pay for all my gear so no pimpin here.

I love my 50fifty but 10-13 knots is way less than I pump up for. The lightest I ride is about 16knots on a 12m C4 and in this, the board is fine. No idea how it would handle a big light wind kite. Better than a cab custom, not as well as a flatter freeride board I'd expect.

If I really wanted to kite 10 knots I'd have either a dedicated light wind twintip or a race/freerace board.

Still, I find I have a big wind range on the 50 and the blend of performance and forgiveness is better than any board I've ridden.

Alien 5,
I demo'd the 2011 (140cm) for about a month then bought the 2012 (140cm)
IMO it is slightly stiffer and flatter but this is only "marginal" and therefore this board is faster, which in turn probably helps in light wind.
I do not regret going for the 2012 as it has not lost the qualities of the 2011.
It still has that great soft ride and is a better build all round.
A major plus is that the 2012 board has the best gelcoat I have ever seen,
no more delamination problems like my demo.
The footpads are also better and a handle unlike last year.
The main thing is the very forgiving ride for landing jumps and toeside etc.
Choppy water now seems smooooooth !
I wont even shop around for years now I just get on it when ever I can.
Get the 140 its the only size to go for.
Hope this helps

Thanks for all comments guys. Sounds like a perfect board for my needs.
I already ordered 140cm 2012 and can't wait to try it when it arrives. I'm switching from 2009 T5, so it's gonna be a huuuuge difference :D.
