I think I bought the wrong board by the sound of the reviews of the PRO, probably should of read them first hey

So anyway I have learnt on a 158 cabrina prodigy which have recently ripped strapes out form learning to fly and have just bought a 139 cardboard PRO seriously do I need to try and offload or reneg on purchase or will I luv this as I have no experience with the tempo

Hi Jared,

The Pro is one stiff and wide board. The width will be OK for your weight and length will be OK too. The stiffness and tail with will be the issue. As a beginner on a stiff high performance board like that I think you won't get the performance out of it and it will be harsh to ride in all but the smoothest of water.

Maybe keep it for a couple/few years to see if it something you may like once you have the skills to use it.

I have a good flat water spot that handles upto 30kn's with about a 100mm-200mm chop sounds like it'd work there.

The stiffness was actually the selling point for me as the 158 cab i've got is very flexi 2008 model I think its dark green.

Next time I will try to drop into ur shop and try a couple out if that was possible

This thing is IMO the best board ever made luv it so light turns on a dime and doesnt destroy me when I dont land so well
