My Comments:
The Pads and Straps are so much better than last year as they dont losen at all. The pads and straps need never change. They were easy to get on the board without crossthreading and are a perfect compromise between a totally snug fit without being too tight.
The Board.: If you want chicks to talk to you, get this board, it has glitter in all the right places and in the sunlight looks awesome. My favourite boards have been the 2010 NHP 131 for choppy conditions and the Xenon Lalux 132 for butter and slight chop.
The 2HD with its 70% flat bottom rides so fast it is unbelievable, its pop is huge, but because of the massive controllable speed kiteloops are easy with such a soft landing.
I thought such a flat rockered board would not be good for unhooked, I was so wrong, because you land with a lot less resistance and the board is stiffer than the NHP, you can land so fast I overtook my kite.
I was a little dubious about the hype and marketing and the actual reputation of this board, but I can fault it. Im happy to share the stoke, we have Xenon, Shinn, Best and Nobile boards to try. just pm me.

For my style of riding, no pimping, just my humble opinion, The 2010-2011 Nobile NHP (same shape different graphics) in chop will be my board of choice and the 2HD when its flatter...
Verdict, Absolutely sick!

Hows the '11 2HD go compared to the '09 NHP?
I loved the '09 NHP but it destroyed my knee's.

It is soo fast there is no drag, the pads and straps are so soft there's no knee pain, Many people liked the 09 NHP(666) as it was controllable under speed, but had a flat rocker so high speed landings doing unhooked tricks required back foot landings to stop the digging in from the board convexing on landings, as a lot of boards do. The 2010, 2011 NHP has huge rocker but plane well due to a flat spot through the centre of the board, it is more suited to choppy conditions. Blah, Blah, Blah, it you are interested in buying a high end board you must demo them back to back in one day to truly get a feel of a good board. Many lighter riders love the Xenon La Luz over the Nobile range, and many other riders in chop and flat water have found the Shinn Monk and the Player their favourite board. What feels perfect under your Feet????

So is it stiffer or softer than the '09 NHP?
More rocker or the same as the '09 NHP?

I'm sure you can guess what i'm getting at.
When the '10 NHP came out there were a lot of Nobile fans that didn't like the increased rocker and slower speed. I initially didn't like the change from the '09 to '10 but have learnt to love it as it's saved my knees the abuse they were copping from the '09s no-compromise approach to performance.
The '09 NHP pads were the older style ones that really didn't have much padding or cushion at all, so if Nobile have used the '09 NHP design, softened it up a tiny bit and put their great new squishy pads on it then it'd just about be the perfect fast high performance flat water board.

The '09 NHP is one of the fastest boards i've ridden and definitely needs the tail landings to keep you in check, which is one of the reasons i always thought the 55mm fins worked really well with it. I don't think i'd swap back from the '10/11 NHP, but if i ever get the chance i'll give the '11 2HD a run just to appease my curiousity. If they have used the '09 NHP design, then it's a winner... just don't try and ride it aggressively in chop if you want to walk the next day.
