My new 2011 Mystic Warrior 3 arrived a few days ago and I finally got to take it out today. The first thing I noticed was that is was super soft and so much lighter than the 2010 model.

The edges are soft and comfy so wearing it without a top or wetty won't result in chaffing. The new Clicker Bar fits securely yet releases without trouble and would open even after a long session in cold water. There are places to stash the webbing once done up too rather than having them flap everywhere.

If you have ever owned a Mystic Warrior, even from the first ones back in 2004, you'll simply love the new one. I think they are available in the new year, glad I've got mine....

thanks for the review I ordered one a couple of weeks ago.

I've been wanting to get a new one for ages but my old one is still going super strong...

Used mine yesterday, seems pretty good except the new hook knife is so loose under the speader bar its not going to last 5 minutes.

I sold my 2010 Shadow to a friend in need and purchased a 2011 Warrior III in all Black.

It is just as comfortable as the 2010 Shadow!

About the Mystic SUPER SOFT EDGES -

DO NOT get them anywhere near velcro (from your wetsuit, wetsuit zipper, etc)
'Place' the Warrior III on the ground (do not toss onto pavement, asphalt, etc)

I agree what was said earlier about the knife stowed beneath the spreader bar.
It either needs more velcro, better placed velcro, or more depth to push it further inside.

We just got a heap of stock of the Warrior 3's, new Shadows and the new Code 101 harnesses at the QLD Kitepower Store...
They look amazing, new clicker bar pad, VERY soft all round, construction looks beefed up on key areas and above all else - they look SIIIIIICK!
