Hey all,

Anyone tried the new 2010 Slingshot SX?
If so, is it much changed? Not that I've tried the earlier models but I've heard they're a pretty reliable board.
I'm a beginner but beginning to progress- almost ready to claim "intermediate"
Been using an old airush switch, looking for something still relatively friendly and cruisy but good to progress onto some basic tricks, small waves, etc. for the next year or 2.

just splash out and get the lunacy. Much nicer board than the SX

The 08 SX was a nice cruisy board but if your going brand new and want to progress then get the lunacy or misfit.

Boys around here are all on them. They abuse the crap out of them and still no failures.

i too am much a begginer but have had the opitunity to try out the 09 versions of both the misfit and lunecy, both felt really good to the point i have ordered a 2010 misfit the price difference from memory was very minimal between the sx and the misfit but the misfit has a wider nose/tail which im told help with going upwind and starting general,
