Has anyone tried this kite? I've been looking at the info on the airush site and it looks like a sweet kite. Going by airush's own rating system the Varial seems to be the overall pick of the bunch for their 2010 line-up.

Yes. I Have been Demoing the 10m, Love it ! I will try to post some pic's & Review tomorrow Friday 2/10. I am happy to see the new Airush kite pulls well & turns fast, in the bigger sizes, & the new bar very sweet design. I know if you try the Varial you will most likely buy one.

I will be using the 10m as my free ride kite & the Furia LTD as my surf kite, this year.
The kite will be at the Coolum kite festival Sat, Sun. For all to try.

I've been a big fan of the airush flows 2008 and 2009.
Whats the main differences?
Whats changed apart from the name?

The Varial is a completely redesigned kite and shares very little with the Flow FT of '09. The design seems based on the delta bridle system and a cross between delta and SLE style shaping of the wing.

The new Varial turns twice as fast as the Flow FT, has better control, more depower and looks much nicer in the sky. It still maintains a good low end power but is just a better kite all round. Re-launch is almost automatic similar to a Delta and they are nice and stable. Boost similar to a Flow FT.

The new Smart Bar is a totally redesigned unit with above the bar trim, new safety system and quick releases.

You are welcome to come up and grab one for a test ride when you want. A big improvement over the Flow FT.
