My Comments:
well guys, it's finally in Australia and i was the lucky one to be the first to own and ride the latest Sx from slingshot. i have only been riding for 2 years now and the sx has been my board. i had the 07 blue sx witch i thought was a great board, pitty about the weakness in the board. so i moved onto the 08, with a little more weight but bom proof construction. i landed some heavy jumps with that one with out a prob. Now after seeing the boys at Board Crazy..... i took home the 09, 137 x 39.5 sx. apart from looking great, this board is even lighter than the 07, and has awsome flex. it has three runs of wood core and foam to make it tuff as well...
i first rode it in about 13kts in a choppy channel at the bay, this board was so smooth through the chop,like built in suspension.. great pop for jumps, And landing,,, nice..
Today i got out in the surf at onemile. it was about 3 foot with some bigger sets coming through. once again very smooth and nice to ride. carving turns off the lip with control. i was out for a good 3 hours non stop and the board being so light and flexable it was good on the legs.
I have test rode a few boards...eg underground, North xride, misfit, lunacy,Naish, but i have to say this is the best one i have ridden.... great board.
but as they say,,,thats just my opinion.!!!!!

I wonder have u tried the 2009 Misfit? Or if u have tried anny Misfit what year was it from.. and how was it? i rely wanna hear about the 2009 Misfit 132x40

I got my first run last weekend at Dolls point on sunday, Man so surprsied at how light it was under foot, poped great and just breezed through the chop..

well mate i have only riden the Misfit a couple of times about a year ago. I think it was the o7 model. To be honest i didn't realy like it, but that was back then and i havn't riden one since, But it is realy worth your while to try the new sx, its great for freestyle, surf and freeride...
