I was watching the video on youtube for the 2009 slingshot fuel with Ruben lenten at the Gorge.

He relaunches the kite out of the water virtically. It just hovers straight down wind of him in mid air, than turns it hard to the right and it shoots back to the edge of the window.

Is this some feature of the new fuel????

Or is this some launching technique iv never been shown????

He's just pulled on both back lines to fly it backwards.
Some C kites do it, not very many though...

A lot of bow kites do it too - Best Nemesis HP's are good at it, Slingshot RPM is really good at it, so are Ozone Edge2's. It all just depends on where the back lines are placed and how they work etc...
