Man this is a big flat kite. I was surprised when I flew this kite for the first time on the Gold Coast last week how similar it feels to the smaller Waroos. OBVIOUSLY this baby is slower, bou the same spead as an 18 BFK. I flew the 21 BFK for some time and definately found this kite to be faster, have stacks more range, and alot more stable.

The thing that really stood out tho was the Upwind ability. I have found the larger the kite, and the lower the aspect, the harder it is to stay upwind. This isnt the case on the 20 Waroo.

Its hard been big. Im 108kg, so I hear what your dramas are. Ive riden the 20 waroo in 8-10 knots with a 138 limited pro. Hard to keep ground but still on the water. Gets better when the wind reaches 10-13knots and stayin up wind is fine, plenty of power. Ideally grab your surf board in these light conditions and find some waves.

You reckon you could post some picys of the 20 for us 2 see?
what do you reckon the minimum wind would be that it needs to fly, like just get in the air.
cos i weigh 65 and want something for like 6-9 knots lol, seriously tho..

also, did you relaunch it?

cheers joe, ill probably be getting the warroo when i get enough money how much did you fork out for the kite, ill prob looking at getting two kites, a good 14 and the warroo 20 im guessing that would be a huge wind range for me, i can hold my 14 torch in about 28-35 knots so with a 14 bow im hopin that i could prob hold a little bit more(or abit more comfortable with the kite) what kind of kites have you been riding and do you reckon this would be a good idea any thoughts

I have 9,14 and 20. This is probably overkill. 14 and 20 dhould be ok for most conditions. If the wind gets up to 30+ I would opt to go the 9. Very comfortable in high 20's plus.

Prices, check with your local Best dealers. Theres plenty around now.
