My Comments:
Had a nice session on Saturday on my new 13m edge. I was riding my small board 134x 36 TB. Performs similar to last years model in most aspects except turning speed were it is much improved. Boosting was good, hang time was good. The kite has good bar pressure and lets you know exactly where it is in the sky. It loops nicely and the good thing my point of view is that it doesn't power up rediculously on the up sweep after you land a jump. Big floaty kite loop transitions. Really nicely powered in the conditions of the day. Smooth is the word that comes to mind.

I also rode the 9m in the same conditions. I was riding my Undeground Styx 142. Had to sign it a little until I got some speed up but was able to lock it in pretty quickly. turns quick enough on the middle setting, probibly the suprise was the respectable jumps and hang time i got in these lightish conditions. I had to throw it from pretty low but like the 11m meter it caught me easily and the landings were smooth. I can only compare it to the 09 9m which used to drop me fairly quickly so a big improvement in hang time this kite will be awesome in the bigger winds.

Shame my 11m is still getting fixed as it probibly would have been the ideal choice for the day.

Based on my day I can back up big marks (90kg) earlier claims of riding his 9m egde in 15 knots.

hey, I got a new 2011 13m edge a couple of months ago and have tryed its low and top end. Ild have to say its the most fun kite ive ever flown. The hang time is beyond what i thought possible and has me trying old school tricks like board offs and big air with multiple rotations. Im thinking of getting a 9m to boost huge and do some kiteloops at high altitude, if anyones tryed the 2011 9 metre edge In decent wind can you give me some info on how it boosts, loops and what size bar it comes with.

I've tried it in 28+ knots, boosts huge just like the other Edges, loops are powerful but controllable, 50cm bar.
Ozone Edge 2011 - favourite kite of the year.

Evan ......As soon as we get a good day I will do another review. But as I said earlier, if the performance on a very marginal day is anything to go by ....the boost and hang of the 9m is gonna be awesome!!!
