The Nemesis is a high aspect kite meaning it isnt as stable in the sky as a medium aspect kite like the Yarga. High aspects are good for boosting big and lofty transitions.
Medium aspect kites are more stable in the sky and tend to give more consistant power. Still able to do nice high jumps but overall is a much easier kite to use as a beginner.
Also Med kites are easier to relaunch from the water than High aspect kites. Thats my thought.
Thats the cons of high aspect covered - now for the pro's:
1. Much better gust handling in high aspect kites - especially when fitted with a 5th line.
2. Water relaunch was never a problem with the Nemi's...except for an 18m in 0 knots
3. Ability to edge the kite hard to the edge of the wind window to depower it is substantially easier on high aspect vs medium (in older style kites).
I rode Nemi's for a couple of years after learning on medium aspect Aero 2's & a Yarga 9. I found the high aspects much better for my kiting than mediums...but that just may be my kiting style.
Nemi's are great kites - you wont go wrong and should be able to pick them up cheap.
