I've been using the 6.0 RF for some towin surfing this past week and am surprised at how well it went it seemed to handle waves up to about 10 foot with ease. It's great have a board that is multi purpose for kiting and towin definitely cuts down on how many boards i have to buy each year.
So when you are out there looking at a new kite surf board think about if it will do more than just kiting you may as well try to get more for your money.
Also been kiting on this board in the same swell and lovin it you can really hold some speed and do some long carves but it also feels at home on the smaller 2 to3 foot slop as well definitely a around board.http://www.northkites.com/public/content/e139/e161/e271/e4794/content/index_ger.html?image_actual=1
Yes still on the stock fins they seemed to go alright the bigger it got. i'm going to start trying some diffrent ones as soon as i get some of the converters.
I'm riding a Cabrinha 5'3" directional and saw a female surfer using one at Jaws on a recent movie I was watching. I haven't tried towing mine behind a boat yet, but it rocks for kiting in the waves !!
