I live in BrisVegas but from down that way and do get down occasionally. Same situation though, rank beginner with my own gear and still needing some support to get my confidence levels up.

Where are the spots in the river you talk about? Is kiting permitted in North Creek, just above Missingham bridge?

Hey yea kiting is permitted both north and south of the bridge in the river. You see people kiting around often. Depending on the wind direction I recon go north of the bridge for southerly wind and do the opposite for northerly.

Hey Fasteater, I'd be keen to catch up for a kite if you're still interested. I've had a few lessons over the last few years, but haven't had the confidence to head out by myself. Im fairly competent in flat water had a few goes in the surf. Im in Pottsville. Cheers

Hello fasteater I live in Skennars Head and I was just about to put up a similar add to yours. I have had a few lessons with earth kite surfing and I need a buddy to practice with i.e launching and landing the kite and just as a spotter. I have done a few lessons at Mobs Bay in the river at low tide. I'd also be keen to give it a go on lennox beach or flat rock in the right conditions which are starting to rapidly approach the spring Northerlies, so if this notice is still going let me know or anyone else looking to develop a network for beginners in the Ballina Lennox area.

Hey Dearny, I'm keen as soon as I'm allowed out of tweed shire. I was planning on heading to Broadwater at some stage but now that's out of the question. Hopefully restrictions will ease soon.

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie and also keen for some kitesurfing buddies in northern rivers area. I'm planning on heading down to Ballina tomorrow afternoon Sunday 24th Oct if anyone is keen...?
