Hi Guys,

Lost my kite at Forries this afternoon and sadly it didn't blow in at Wamby / Terrigal but instead decided to truck out to sea.

Reported to authorities and SLSC's, and last reported hundreds of metres east of the HMAS Adeliede Buoy.

It's a Red(ish) North Neo, if anyone happens to see this wrapped around any rocks anywhere please let me know, so I can come clean up my mess. Based on the trajectory not 100% confident it will make landfall on the central coast, but if it does I would expect somewhere between Winnie Bay and Copa point.

Found and disposed of.

What do you mean disposed of? I saw this kite on a fishing channel being found and retrieved by a fisherman but I can't remember the name or find the clip now.

Kite was apparently picked up by fishermen 6NM off Sydney. Water police contact me for confirmation it was mine and asked if I wanted it back, but I declined and asked them to dispose of it.
