Hey Sydneysiders. just moved up from Victoria and Looking for a list of the beaches You cannot (or can) kite surf waves at. not interested in flat water spots at all thanks! My days of handle passes are over. I'm veteran wave rider looking for genuine guidance please. Happy to share any info on Victoria as I've been kiting there 20 years.

I know after lifeguards leave Bondi you're allowed, not sure about maroubra. for a weekend getaway long reef seems to be a mentioned place.

Any help would be appreciated, can't wait to meet locals and make new friends. The kiting community is awesome in Melbourne and hope to get involved in Sydney.

Bondi beach is the epicentre of all human extreme stimulation on the spectrum .. ( its the parallax of our universe )addiction to all mindbenders.physical and mental fitness , eye candy , work ,surf , sun, meditation .Tumeric and beetroot and coconut milk in your short black . When you have all this why kite ???

Don't think your gonna be doing much riding in the eastern subs mate
your gonna have to cruise north or south for good winds and less people
Hell of a coast when u get outta that busy zone
Enjoy

I think you'll be doing alot of driving to cronulla and maybe try Maroubra after 6 or 7 when the flags go down. Flat water in the bay a bit closer when working long hours and good to practice airs, tacks, etc

Has that been a recent change to be able to kite bondi/maroubra after flags down ? I thought Waverly council banned all kiting and nearest ocean beaches long reef or cronulla.
