Board has my name 'Rob' and phone number (0418 410 165) on it if anyone finds it. Got tumbled by a wave out the back, kite went down and then tangled in lots of weed. By the time I got the kite back in the air 20 min later it was getting dark and the board was nowhere to be found. Probably will end up at the rivermouth to the north or at Horrocks in the next 24 hours

Found these pics of another board on Marketplace from a few months ago. This isn't my board but it looks almost identical to this one.

Disappointing that whoever has found it hasn't contacted me. Keep and eye out and if you see it please contact me on the above number. Unlikely that there is another one exactly like it in the area. Cheers.

Hiya I spent quite alot of time around coros area and ger again year before last as the sw got too busy after the new 'KA' ransacked the place even though all they did was sit around for two days with a load of adverts and a tent made me laugh
...& because generally speaking there's more space around gero/Horrocks etc to go out compared to trillions of people on one wave..... just never coros in the school hols etc
...& there were quite a few travellers Germans etc who lost boards even people on quads found them further up... Also was out once and an off road mbike went right through someone's lines...
Anyway.... I helped solved quite a few 'lost board' &windsurfers puzzles even went for four km walks up there ... Alot of people who found them I put them onto the camp host I E ...ask the camp host (if you haven't already)..! They even tried to get in touch with Ben whose away at the moment (and maybe they have) ...so...ask the camp host may have just been given there...windsurf gear included ..or they may have got in touch with Ben

Also ..as you must know there's alot of east wind&you must have scored a random day so don't expect it to come back

Anyway why are you loosing a board&dropping a kite your a very experienced kiter arnt you?

Thanks Tim, Yeah, it's probably sitting in someone's shed now. No way that someone wouldn't have found it by now. I've lived here for 12 years now and kite Coros all the time and first time I've lost a board. It was a big day toward dark, got rolled and the kite came down and lines ended up in lots of weed. Took about 15 min to get it back in the air and then it was nearly dark by the time I got back to the beach and couldn't see where the board ended up. Wind did go offshore about 20 minutes later but boards almost always end up at the rivermouth. I had a friend take a drive up the next morning but he didn't find it. Unlikely it got blown out to sea as it was lost inside the break even though it was about 500m out from the beach. It'll turn up somewhere. There aren't any around exactly like this one and I'd spot it straight away from several unique features. Cheers mate.

Cut your losses mate. Your number is on it so if it's found you'll hear about it, probably not. Don't forget that you're the one that lost it. These things happen, get over it and consider it a bonus if it still shows up.
