Hi, still the owner here waiting and hoping!
Apparently the older versions of Bars and Lines did not float but these ones definitely do - so if they haven't been picked up yet then they would be still floating out there somewhere?? I was pretty close to the seaway when I lost it so they could have easily been washed out through the seaway and then washed up onto one of our Gold Coast beaches! (more likely to be still near Kit Island to Shearwater though)
