I carry nearly all my gear in the car all the time - only today I realised that I don't have my 10.4m kite. I think I used it last about 10 days ago at Applecross Jetty, but I am not entirely sure. Very disappointed with myself - this is the second time it happened - I hope for the same happy end ....

Mystery resolved, found my kite unpacked and thrown in a ditch along the road 50m from my home.

Some wanker stole it from my car not really knowing what he is taking. Inspected his loot and decided it is not any good to him - then chucked it in the ditch. I live on a dead end street - lucky I went for a walk up the road.

The sad part is that after living in the hills for 20 years and never locking my car the time came to keep it locked.
