I lost it in the water about 20m in. About in line with the walkway where the windsurfers launch from, it's got a floaty on, but the pole it was attached to must have been too heavy. There is a lot of seaweed around hoping it will wash up on the beach. Thanks for keeping an eye out for it.

I hope you find it. We lost a mobile phone at Pinnaroo in a waterproof case 2 years ago in summer, also about 20m from the shore. The following day we found it in just a few minutes by snorkelling early morning. But there was no wind, very good visibility and no seaweed. Worth a look when the conditions calm down.

Thank you Justin and his dad, 11 months later and the GoPro returned with the footage intact. Helped that I put my contact details on sd card
