Was thinking black duck but $650 for my car...what about the neoprene ones? I would have thought that they would actually hold the water rather than repell it (my wetsuit stays wet for a long time)

or are they closed cell?

any recommendations?

Seat covers do more damage to your seats over time because they hold all the crap hard against the fabric and cause stains and abrasion. They also compress and deform the cushions of the seat if they are not custom made for your seats.

Get a big towel or a toweling poncho and just take your wetty off.

For cold weather I take a bottle of hot water to rinse down with after. Bliss!

I have a vinyl seat cover that mechanics use. I think it came from Supercheap or Big W. I just slip it over the seat for the drive home.

I have a set of Mystic waterproof covers and they are
excellent for keeping seats totally dry and no sand etc
gets through onto seat so no prob with seat material
wearing.. they are cotton canvas on top and PVC
underneath with sealed seams.. super easy to put on
had mine for about 7 years now and still in good cond
+ nice design and colour combo..real easy to keep clean
have thrown them in wash machine a few times no prob..or
just wipe down with damp cloth..

not so much worried about the seats as want to be able to clean easily. new car will have vynil floors. currently have carpet and no covers and kids and the thing looks like a brothel and am forever vaccuming. Might stretch to the black ducks purely because i hate vaccumming and I should be able to just sweep ****e out...

You don't have to vac the mystic covers as the sand etc just sits on top of cover so you can just use dust broom to sweep it off

on my 3rd set of black duck's(3 different cars), custom made, the best, hate advertising but they do what they are made for, well worth it, just give them a scrub now and again, all good
