Trying to install some valves on a switch nitro 3

What's the deal with the valve covers?

I get that they are meant to pop out and clip onto the leading edge...... But what's the deal....... Why are they impossible to get them to slot in?

Are there any switch riders who can gimme some help?

Is there some trick I'm missing?

These arent like all the other valves I've done. Surely there's acway they can clip in easily.
I thought maybe they'd pop in if I inflated but that failed.

Cheers

There very similar to this style valve.

Its the small groove that the Leading edge is supposed to slot into....... Me ne are impossible to get in there.
I feel like I'm going to rip the valve off the bladder.

There has to be a trick, right??

Timber dowel or piece of broom handle,
Rounded over,
Insert into le valve hole to stretch open,
Did this with some ozone and norths replacing bladders
A local with switch kites said to loop some string on ribbed section of valve, when poking through le,
Then attatchment string overhead , then you've both hands free to apply force and tease it over the le, said it worked a treat

I did one on a strut just a few days ago. You just need to be persistent and roll the valve opening over the valves fitting edge. maybe a bit of soap rubbed over it would make it a bit easier . I did see a clip suggesting to tie a piece of rope or line to the valve and something up over your head so you can put pressure on the opening with two hands but I didn't need to do that

ai dont want yo disagree with switch too much but I would be hesitant trying to pull the valve through with a rope. quick way to damage the bladder if you slip. I use the string method but I love the wooden dowel idea! Thanks mate.
