Just had this kite made here in Vietnam...Its all stiched, not printed and the guy who designed and made it deserves a medal for the work he has put in...
Its an old switchblade2 I bought off Luke in caloundra...Original panels were trashed... [
Those veitnamese are amazing at producing knock offs. It looks like a pretty good job. Is it the same material as the original cab, and how much did it cost u?
it was made by a Russian dude that lives and kites here....Its the original sb2 leading edge and struts but new panels, so in effect a new kite.....Cant reveal the cost as it was mates rates but he can produce any logo, design on any size kite.....
Not bad for a one off unique kite with your stamp on it!!!!!!!
The leading edge, struts, bladders and inflation system, plus bridal connections = more than 50% of the kite. So it's not really a new kite. I gather the time and effort involved would end up costing more than a good 2nd hand kite, But if your after a unique look good luck 2 u
Pogo is the name of my bar here in Vietnam, and the dude is our logo......
The Mrs designed him 5 years ago and got him stenciled on her back but im sure she wouldnt apprieciate them photos on here...
Glad you like it Oz...
The guy does do this for a living but he flies back to Russia in a few days... He will be back in Vietnam in the high season, Oct-april and I can put you in touch...
