I had wondered about this, why did I learn to wake board on a kneeboard first, but not kiteboard. Maybe a knee board wouldnt work on waves?....

too true jim it would make that first tack so much easier for some. Knee boards don't go up wind easy though.

beg to argue on the upwind my son bought a knee borad with drop down fins and it trucks up wind .Got it out for a laugh and turn out a sweet ride till my ankels couldnt handel beening flat for so long .

yer the one you normaly tow behind ski boat with a stap to hold you on the board sweet ride actually was like so soft to cruise around on even load and pop with it wasnt that bad .

james storm recons its the best way to go down wind on a race board too. not sure about that be he does go fast
