just started kite surfing maybe 2,4 month ago on the sunny coast. After staying here a little longer I'm going to travel around Australia. Would like to plan my tour based on good kite surfing spots.
What places at what time (month) would you recommend me?

Another question: bought a second hand North Neo 2011 9m kite as my first one to get into the sport. Sadly had lots of trouble with it and too light wind the last couple of weeks on the coast for practising, so thought about selling it and going for two kites.
I'm 1,68 cm, 58kg, just started kite surfing, so looking for an all-rounder kite. What sizes would you recommend me to combine? Thought about a 11m (maybe cabrinha/naish) and a 8m?Hope to get some useful tips!

11m and 8m sound good for someone of your size especially in SE QLD. There would be so many good kiting spots in Australia it would be too hard to list them all! but i suppose if you are a learner you should stick to flat water locations. One tip i have would be to find the kite surfing shops in each of the coastal towns you stop in and ask for info on the best spots in their area. also just look on google maps etc to find good flat water spots ie. lagoons, estuaries. i would say from SE QLD down to VIC you will get summer sea breezes. also in WA. but if you head north you should go in the winter months when north QLD gets trade winds and nicer weather. Hope that helps a little. Basically enjoy your trip and if you get a windy day in a coastal area just scan the coast for kites, i'm sure you will see some around most reasonable sized coastal towns.
