Just wondering if anyone drags a fishin lure behind them whilst they kite? i no some of the clubbies do it with a thong whilst they paddle there surf ski's just wondering what the best setup is for kiting

not trolling just seen heaps of fish where i was kiting today and thought kiting and free dinner would be good!

If there was that many fish i wouldnt want to be falling off your board around them, All of a sudden you then turn into a nice man size lure for the real fish!!

If it's been thought, it's often been done. A windsurfing Euro dragging a lure at GN brought in a respectable spaniard a few years back. Hooked him up and charged straight over the reef to get him onto the beach.

In the north I'd suggest a good bit of bungie, a heavy board and pray to catch something you can cut in half to fit in the frypan.

Diving those waters you rarely see a spaniard without a Suit on his tail and even a small fish has enough force to take your legs from under you - saying that saves on fuel!

This is a great idea until you forget about the line & do a trick and get a hook to the face. Haha be sure to upload a vid when u try it :D

are u serious about being eatin by a shark what to spear fishermen do? haha and i cant beleive anyone hasnt tried it if i can be bothered settin somethin up ill post my dinner up and or the picture of me with a hook in my face

Indeed jesus its bad enough with hooks and lures at kite beach in Maui without having extra added bonus

If you know a good surgeon to take the fish hook out of your... say eye then it would be loads of fun

The guy rides out back for a while hooks the fish drags it long till he wears it out the chucks it o board his board and comes in catches lots of fish that way
