You will likely be on double anticoagulants for 6-12 months and after that a single anticoagulant for life. You shouldn't do activities with such an obvious risk of traumatic impacts while on double anticoagulants as the risk of major bleedings will be high, but perhaps you can go back to kiting if you feel very secure that you won't do high impact crashes after that. Risk of bleeding with single anticoagulant is increased, but not extreme.

Hi there

I'm sure there are others out there worse than me, I dodged a bullet and had a double heart bypass in Feb 2023, Cheat was sore after the operation obviously and takes time to mend.
I still kite now but I didn't back into kiting again until Jan 24, SO almost a year for me mentally to get back into it again. I'm not into jumps etc I'm just happy to cruise up and down.

DM me if you want to ask more questions about recovery etc and well-being after the operation..

Good Luck with the op

Hello wave6ft may not be your kind of thing but I did do a couple of years in India and Nepal and know all about singing bells and tones etc and as we know water and swimming yoga etc aligns molecules and repairs DNA as our bodies are mostly made of water

Anyway maybe try something like this to speed it up..
285hz ..for a pretty long time ....
I listened to 285 for a few hrs then I was pretty convinced I was going to learn winging

Hey mate I was back out after 3 months, had surgery about 1 year ago. I kite now every chance i get, not at all worried about taking 1 asprin a day as far as the risk of injury goes. Personally I don't listen to any one who says i cant do the things I used to. If my surgeon says Im good to go he's the one I listen to. Good luck!
I dont know your personal situation but hopefully the more you go kiting the fitter you will get!
