You've all probably seen by now - that Kitepower Australia is running a big kids colouring in competition to win one of the 2011 Cabrinha Kiteboards. (a carbon Caliber X)

It's not just for kids! You can use photoshop, collage, paint, pen, pencil, crayons - whatever you need to do to make something fully artistic.

We've roped Pete Cabrinha into judging the comp - so make it worth his while ey!

Yeah, i know its a low blow resorting to pulling on the heart strings for a competition but my wife took away my kiting budget after our daughter was born so I don't have a choice.

How awesome does the one with the palm trees look. They almost look like they are 3D

There are some more excellent ones that came in today, including one with wood laminated kites!!
Some very creative people out there and we are now starting to see entries from adults, instead of their children!
The competition was designed to get entries from adults as a bit of fun in a promotional way of course.

This is all good and obviously a way to promote the new Calibre X, but what good is all of this, if Cabrinha are going to hold off the release of these new boards.

When will the winner get their new board if nobody knows when they're coming into the country?

We received a message from Cabrinha yesterday that the Caliber X is unfortunately delayed until end Jan, so we will change the comp prize to a Custom.
