A Cabrinha Switchblade circa 2007 in 2050 will be worth $50 or $5000?

Bought a mint Wipi classic for $50 nz (that's probably about $2.65 Aussie the rate things are going). Hoping for huuuuge gains. Mind u aside from being sarcastic - i did buy some skateboards about 20 years ago that i have kept for the wall, and my eyes nearly popped out when u saw how much they sell for now... a new Vision Gonz and a used complete Tony Hawk with trackers, bones wheels and schmitt stix if that means anything to anyone old enough to remember...

NO a roll of toilet paper is worth more than some old kites now ,a couple of years ago I had a brand new wipika inferno that a gave away free to a mates son to hang up on his bedroom wall ,not much good for anything else.

I think some classic models from the very early days will have some value in the future. Not 2007 swithblades though

Most likely not,I think they depreciate with time due to sun damage and salt, and they rot like rubber if they sit in the closet all the time.

The bladders will definitely degrade. But Naish TV just did an episode with the guys taking out all the old gear to see how it compares to today's equipment and they seemed to work fine. I'd be hanging them up in a garage, sail loft style if I was interested in collecting these old things.
