There is still a small regular crew but the past 6-12 months have seen maybe 10km of unprotected beaches (so deep water, choppy conditions) opened up so there are plenty of places to kite without anyone else and no aggro. A lot of the residents just haven't grown up around the beach so beach crowds will be light on for 5-10 years i think.

Why's that?

C'mon up Phil, bring a Jimmy Lewis with you , as mentioned above the beaches north of quinns have better access so a few crew are doing DW's a bit more regularly, just to break the chop up a bit

There is a dedicated foiling crew riding at Quinn's most days. Seabreeze member Pilot Pete is probably the best contact.
