Sunshine Coast is looking good for this weekend - yeeew..!

not as much as the forecasters are saying

North Queensland has been pretty good lately, we've had green arrows 2 most of the last 2 weeks, and the weekend looking OK as well

Hasn't been off the richter, but we've been getting our share of 18-22knots so all the 12m and 10m kites are well powered up.

I had a nice hour last Saturday. It could have been a nice 3 hours but I waited until the showers cleared up.

There's been plenty of wind but it's been a touch inconsistent.

The northerlies have been during the week and little too much east for the local beaches.

The southerlies have rain and general yuckness attached.

Westerlies tend to blow up stormy then drop back to nothing. Add to that the grey skies and grey water and coldness and it's hard to get excited about going for a kite.

Over here I think the correct term is "calm"

Haven't kited in Sydney for months! Surf's been good though

definitely aloy calmer then last winter
