Hey people.

Been kiting for 5 years now. All I do is jumps and slowly getting into kiteloops.
I'm 28, 190cm and 85 kgs

Wondering which size Jaime I should get.
Either the 136 or the 139.

Do I lose a lot of low wind capabilities with the 136?
Am I overthinking this?
Is there any meaning to life?

Anyway, cheers.

If all u do is boost, go the 136....

I have had both sizes in the textreme and prefer the 136 @ 93 kegs....the difference is minimal in low wind but u will get a bit more speed for bigger booOoosts with the smaller more nimble board...

Cheers!!

Smaller board will sink a little deeper which is great for boosting in high winds as gilly sure does.

If your going the freestyle kite (pure c , no bridles , directly connected 5 lines etc etc ) route with boots then the larger board will save you sessions and get you loading up more power in lighter conditions with you on the water more then with smaller one wearing boots etc etc id even look at getting one thats more around 140-142 if your not planning on looseing a bit of weight then maybe even a 144 if the sell em. Honestly may aswell just get a team series / hadlow because boots will rip the inserts out of a jaime.

So yeah bigger and a stronger model for boots

If you just want to go left and right and do hooked in **** stick to the straps and 136 for high wind big boostin

Going boots on a 133 rockered out wakeboard like i used to is a bit of a grovel and i wont be going back to anything below 140 again and im about 10kgs lighter then you and ill pump a wingding before i ever ride straps again

Hi Horned Squirrel,

Definitely go with the 136 at your weight and skill level. 139 would be OK, but best as a lighter wind option for you, or for slow more relaxed cruising. In my competition days I rode a 132 at just over your weight, but always rode fast and powered.

Defo 136
