I just drag lines across a candle from time to time. Keeps lines feeling like new: smooth, less tangle-prone, and repels water etc. Candle-wax isn't sticky at all, so sand doesn't stick to it.

I've used this is several line sets and it definitely works well. Seems to be a solvent-based solution of paraffin wax so that when it dries the lines are slick and smooth again like new lines, restores some of the colour of faded lines.
One bottle will do several line sets.

Candle wax will be fine. I have used modeling wax which I use in my job which is a little softer than standard white stick candles and probably easy to apply. Board wax would probably be to soft and bees wax maybe to sticky. A craft shop might have different types of wax but I wouldn't stress about it and just go with candle wax

Last year, Nixon scuffs the counter when he's going over,...
..so there is a soil sample.
Non-specific mud. Traces of asphalt, traces of oil.
Traces of sand. Carnuba wax.
So l become a wax expert. Now, there's eightysome uses for this stuff.
Candle wax, car wax, moustache wax.
Could be anything.
Guy's waxing his moustache at the beach, gets sand in it,...
..takes it offwith a shoe.
Shoe scuffs the counter...
Would you just shut up a minute! Listen! Maybe you'll learn something.
The lab gave us three possible matches.
This is one ofthem.
- Sex Wax! - Yeah.
You're not into kinky ****, are you?
Not yet! Surfers use this. They rub it on their boards for traction.
Thanks for the tip.
You're welcome for the tip. Here's another.
Check out the dates on these robberies.

Ear wax works really well but takes a while to collect.
