...he is riding the waves, then the wind picks up few knots....he would need to change to a smaller kite, but can't for any reason....does he need to change his riding style (kite movements, board...etc) or everything is the same as it was when the wind was lighter...?....I assume he is riding a surfboard....

Why are you so concerned about my gender, mate, it's not a dating site....and if you have nothing relevant to respond, why bother..........?

....he stays hooked in and continues his session, he adapts to the conditions and changes the mood, he morfs into a highly charged Surf missile blasting, boosting and slashing his way through the line up without a care in the world!

Slow the kite movement down to keep better control of the power same with the bottom turn/top turn etc-more power on tap so less aggressive kite action and a tender edge with those rails or you're toast (especially if unstrapped-catapult time)

He comes in and swaps his unstrapped board for a strapped one and charges harder and has fun with some big boosts aswell, or if the wind is the right angle just parks his kite and rides rather than aggressively flying it and following it turn for turn.

.keeping the kite low may need much harder edge.......flying the kite higher risks running under it....which is the better option?

Try both methods, could have worked it out in the time you took to write the post.

It seems my post...(or my avatar???) is attracting so many meaningless replies...hey kiddies if there is nothing to say why bother posting....?

Yes, I have a certain way I ride waves when overpowered....but it may not be the best or most effective way....so I started this thread to read about how other waveriders ride overpowered...

Thanks for the few meaningful replies, I appreciate them, but I still have the question open......

...I haven't been on the waves for more than 2 weeks due to an injury....that might contribute to my decreased tolerance to the arrogant and personally abusive posts that started to pop up and increasing again after some weeks of relative peace ........this is one of the main reason why some very intelligent and experienced kiters never bother posting here......sad to see those who could contribute to the forum the most eventually pulling out....

I think the responses were not due to your avatar, but more likely the strange phrasing of your original question.

If I were to ask a question i would say "When I am wave riding and the wind picks up, I would like to change to a smaller kite but can't" etc ...
