Looking at the stok fins on a wainmann joke they look enormous for a board u can ride with boots (particularly after my darkside!!)
Has anyone found anywhere decent for small fins with the standard TT screw fittings?

Cheers

The have a really rounded top so they don't hook up on sliders and kickers but provide just the 'right' amount of grip.

Cheers,

DK

I'm sorry but this comment is total bull... It doesn't matter what profile it has, its a fin... a thin 15mm or more length of fibreglass protruding from the bottom of the board designed to grip the water. So there is no way it wont hook up on a rail or slider regardless of whether it is rounded or not.

You are the new designer of the Cab boards aren't you?

Hi Rowdy,

Yes - I am the designer of these fins - and I ride a fair bit of cable including rail hits and use a 2013 140 Custom with these 15mm fins as my standard setup.

As always your mileage may vary BUT I don't remove these fins for rail hits.

The image below shows the difference between the 15mm (bottom) and 25mm (top) profiles.

Cheers,

DK

Good work on the new boards then, and these fins look pretty cool to!

I guess it all depends what your doing, but if your pressing around a bit I couldn't see any fin lasting more than a session or two, regardless of how it's shaped.
Even the tiny cupped LF wake fins break pretty quick.

These new fins looks great for in the flat water though :) if I used fins I would definitely give them a try haha.

Best, Liquid force and cabrinha make small fins
or if you go to any wakeboard store you can get long based small profile fins (.8" fins are best) which work the best as you get tons of grip on your edge but it releases really cleanly when popping.
