Here in WA, in summer, it goes like this - easterlies in the morning, temps around 30 to 35, then a sea breeze (sou wester) about mid afternoon, usually around 15 knots and above. You'd have to think that this was perfect conditions for a beginner kiter, right? Right. Only it hasn't happened like that for several weeks

I had my lessons (3 spaced over about 3 weeks due to poor conditions), then went out and got all the gear an enthusiastic beginner is going to need (kite, board, harness, reel leash, gath helmet, impact vest), and have been sitting on my ass since then, waiting for conditions suitable for me to head out in. Admittedly there have been one or two days of good conditions, but those would be the days I have to be at work, of course. Doh!!!
Conspiracy, global warming or just bad luck

At this rate, by the time a good day coincides with a day off work, I am going to need another lesson

I haven't even rigged my new kite up yet
