Hi, I'm planning on taking a much needed holiday end of April beginning of May and would really like to find somewhere with consistant wind (and sun) where I can take some lessons and practise kitesurfing. I live in Japan and will be meeting up with a friend who's coming from Europe. Can anyone suggest a realiable place to visit (possibley in Asia although open to other places to) ? Many thanks.

Does anybody know what the canary islands would be like around Early April time (Easter) going to Lanzarote and Furtaventure, looks like they have some pretty nice wave spots, does any one know of the good spots and what the wind would be like?

cheers

Hi,
i did some windsurfing on both Islands. Very nice waves and consistent winds.
I went to Fuerteventura in Mai and we had 20 knots every day for 2 weeks
The Sea is pretty rough tho. Geografically it belongs to Africa.

Make sure you take your pluggers cuz the black vulcano sand gets very hot...
