Patagonia ambassador Reo Stevens gives us an in depth look into making the most out of marginal conditions. Kitesurfing is not a replacement for surfing, simply an extension of it; the conditions for one are only ideal when they are not for the other. By using the kite as a means to harness one of surfing's imperfections, surfers can increase their water time and maximize their wave count. Other riders include Keahi De Aboitiz, Ian Alldredge and Patrick Rebstock.

And what will that do? Bring over knobs to the sport and make it crowded on the water.

I'm gonna go take the straps off my board....

Also, from various other posts, the consensus on here seems to be not to wear a leggie. There were a few leggies in that video, and while I can see the problem with them, I can also see the merit. Especially in big surf where you might have to go a long way and into some unpleasant places to retrieve your board. What's the go?

^^^^^best not to listen to the consensus on seabreeze forums
lead you to darkness it will

if you are in a 15min contest heat you dont want to be chasing a board down
if you are just freeriding for pleasure on a beach break, no need for a leggy, just another potential tangle
