Here's a few that I got from the beach and chopper up at the Lancelin Ocean Classic wave comp. The actual best shots we got are being reserved for magazine use unfortunately.

Jake Gordon - 3rd mens open

Bonny Sulyistro from KSS

Richard Sills - winner mens open

Jeebers AKA Dale Stanton, winner of the Ian Young award for best overall performance in waves and marathon.

Charlie Wise 2nd Juniors

I'm not sure who this is but he rips.

Dale again, some further shots in the sequence are killer.

James Carew, absolutely kills it, some of his other shots are incredible.....

Unknown trying to whip up a whirlpool

Ryland Blakeney 2nd mens open.
Billy Hampton winner Juniors

Unreal shots mate. Would've been quite exciting shooting kiting from a chopper. Love the perspective with the kite in the frame. What lens did you shoot?

Nice shots Steve. Good perspective and super sharp, it's clear that you've invested in some good glass.

They were all shot with the Canon 100-400II and 1DX2, the lens is amazing for a zoom with that focal range, but the camera sensor/dynamic range and shutter speed available make a big difference too. I'm just leaving ISO on auto and dialing up whatever SS I think I need.

+1, sick angle and shots, and some other great photos in this thread as well, loving some of the boost shots. Makes me want to get out there in 30 on the 9m and TT again
