Who has been to Tarifa?
What's it like at this time of year?

It is a great spot all over the year because it has winds coming from two fronts.
During the winter you need 5mm because the water is pretty cool, while in the summer you can go with a shorty or just a rush vest, it depends how macho you are ...

It is insanely busy, if you are planning a trip to learn kite, do not go in Tarifa or Cadiz because it will be too busy for a beginner.

Its Great,
Great winds, Great choice of Accommodation, Great choice of Kite shops on one street, Great Restaurants best steak full stop ... in the old town, Great Night life and close to Gib for excellent duty free.

As mentioned very busy but if you get a car there are some great less crowded spots up and down the coast.

all up I rate it second to Perth overall, but im not impartial so go try it.
