It was surely having some influence over the conditions around Perth yesterday. Plenty of 40 KNOT + Gusts on offer. Local charger Reno on a 9M.

So dreary and muggy here with Northerlies and the threat of Zika virus as well.

The cyclone was named Stan, not Shirley.

I was expecting footage of a wild vortex exerting dramatic g forces on objects and possibly propelling people sideways through the air....!!
