I like how you have used more DSLR than GoPro.
A tip: try grade the footage from the two different cameras so the colours match.
Can be hard, but just helps smooth things out a bit.
Thumbs up.
Cheers for your feedback surfingboye,
Yeah i am really loving my new setup, pretty disappointed that dslrs dont have more fps, other than that its awesome. il give that a go for next time! thanks for the feed back mate!
The bug bites hard my friend!
Time for a gh4 maybe. Cheap way to get into the 4k and higher fps fold.
Sony a6000 would probably be the best cheap option for a 60p full HD delivery which can make a decent enough slo-mo if needed.
GH4 is great for the money (best there is I would say) but it's still pretty expensive for most peoples budget I think.
I was into shooting RAW for a while but I don't think it's really worth the hassle for Boardsports flicks like kiteboarding etc. If you're properly exposing your image with 8bit compression it will still be a great image (most people wouldn't see the difference in a kite flick). I would love to shoot more in RAW and 4K more but the extra time it takes (especially without a super computer) makes me use it only on special circumstances.
What have you been shooting?
@surfingboye?
